Q1: How long must I invest in Tiger Vault in order to earn returns?
A1: You can enjoy returns as soon as your subscription is confirmed.
Q2: How long does it take for me to get back my cash after redeeming my units in the fund under Tiger Vault?
A2: It will take T+1.
Q3: What currencies is Tiger Vault available in?
A3: Tiger Vault is available in SGD and USD. HKD will be coming soon!
Q4: What funds are available in Tiger Vault?
A4: You can check the latest fund list on Tiger Vault main page.
Q5: Can I withdraw my cash if my Auto-Sweep is turn on?
A5: If you perform any manual redemption of your Tiger Vault, Auto-sweep feature will be suspended for 3 business days to provide sufficient time for cash withdrawal.
Q6: Will I incur any margin interest when using Tiger Vault as purchasing power?
A6: There may be a chance of margin interest charged when using Tiger Vault to purchase options due to difference in settlement dates. Please do take note of this!
Q7: In the event my shares that are on margin fall in price and results in liquidation, what is the liquidation process?
A7: We will sell your securities first before we sell off your Tiger Vault.
Q8: Can I withdraw cash from my account if all my cash is in Tiger Vault?
A8: You will need to first redeem your Money Market Funds holdings under Tiger Vault at your portfolio. Once the order is settled and cash returns to your account, you can then withdraw the cash from your account as per usual.
Q9: How about futures?
A9: Tiger Vault is not available for idle cash balance in futures nor can it be used for futures trading at the moment. We will be adding futures function really soon! In the meantime, you can transfer from cash to futures account for trading futures and the money that resides in the futures account will not be included under Auto-Sweep.
