  1. Who can apply for a Tiger BOSS Debit Card?

  • The Tiger BOSS Debit Card is a product only available for Tiger Brokers (Singapore) users, and is only eligible for Singaporean, Singapore PR or foreigner 18 years old and above who physically resides in Singapore.


  1. How do I apply for the Tiger BOSS Debit Card ?

  • Apply for your card using the Tiger Trade App. Head to your [Profile], click on the [Debit Card] option to begin your application.

  • Once you have confirmed the name on the card, you'll receive your Virtual Tiger BOSS Debit Card instantaneously.

  • Virtual Tiger BOSS Debit Card is free on the first application. You may start using your card immediately upon top-up.

*:Do note that Tiger Brokers has stopped issuing the physical Debit Card w.e.f. 02 June 2025.


  1. How do I activate my Tiger BOSS Debit Card?

  • Your virtual card is activated by default and you can use it instantly after you have topped up its stored value.

  • Your physical card* will need to be activated before it can be used for purchases.

    • To activate your card, insert it into either an ATM or payment terminal and enter your PIN, which can be found on the [Debit Card] page of the Tiger Trade app.

  • Note: Customers who have already activated their card via ATM, will be required to make their first transaction via chip and pin before they can use contactless payment for their subsequent transactions.

*Do note that Tiger Brokers has stopped issuing physical Debit Card w.e.f. 02 June 2025. Cards issued before 02 June 2025 will still be able to be activated.


  1. How do I use the Tiger BOSS Debit Card?

  • Top-up the card in-app. You may choose to use the Direct Debit Authorization (DDA) method to top up your Tiger BOSS Debit Card, or you may top-up with available balances in prime account.

  • Thereafter, you can and should add it to your Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and other e-wallets for ease of usage.

  • With the digital Tiger BOSS Debit Card, you can start shopping online and in-person instantly (even overseas!)

  • After you add your card for an online payment or any digital wallet/device, you might see a small charge on your account - this is just to check that your card works. It's usually, 0.00, but if they charged anything, they'll refund it soon. Do note that action may fail if your card do not have a balance required for the verification. It is highly recommended for the card to have a minimum balance of S$1 for any verification purposes.

^Do note that Tiger Brokers has stopped issuing physical Debit Card w.e.f. 02 June 2025. Physical card applications before 02 June 2025 will still be able to receive the cards in 7 - 10 days.


  1. Is it possible for me to get my card details In-app?

  • Yes, card details such as your card number, expiry date and CVV are available in-app. Simply head to your [Profile], click on [Debit Card] option and click on [Card Details]. You will be prompted to enter your Tiger trading password to access your Tiger BOSS Debit Card details.

  • If you have not yet set up a Tiger Trade password, please follow the prompts to complete the set-up.

  • With your card details, you can start using the debit card online or add it to your Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and other e-wallets for ease of usage.


  1. Is it possible to have more than one debit card with my Tiger Brokers / Tiger Vault / Tiger Trade account?

  • No. Each registered user will only be able to have ONE available Tiger BOSS Debit Card binding to the Tiger Trade account.


  1. Can cardholders request for a physical card on top of their virtual card?

  • Please be informed that Tiger Brokers has stopped issuing physical Debit Cards w.e.f. 02 June 2025.

  1. Who is providing the card issuing services and balances?

  • Tiger Brokers (Singapore) Pte Ltd has partnered with Wise to provide card issuance and account issuing services. Wise is the trading name of Wise Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, which is a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore with Unique Entity Number 201422384R.

  • Wise Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd is regulated as a Major Payment Institution by The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) license: PS20200413. You can verify this information at the MAS website here. Consumers are advised to read this Customer Agreement carefully.
