1250 ET [Dow Jones]--As neoclouds CoreWeave and Nebius report their third-quarter results, investors will be looking for a clear path for both companies to finance both their existing contracted capacity and planned future projects, Morgan Stanley analysts write in a note. The prints will follow a midterms-fueled tech rout, with CoreWeave down 50% over the past month and Nebius down 48%. As a result, earnings expectations are likely balanced for both stocks, meaning that clarity on financing could earn some investor confidence, the analysts write. "All in, share performance has been volatile for AI infrastructure vendors over the trailing three-month period and we continue to exercise caution," they write. "That said, greater visibility into deployment strategy and financing needs would likely be well received thereby supporting a positive T+1 move."
