Align Technology (ALGN) said Friday it has entered into a $270 million accelerated stock buyback agreement with investment bank Goldman Sachs (GS) under its $1 billion stock repurchase program.

The agreement fulfills a commitment announced in July and is expected to bring 2026 buybacks to about $500 million, leaving about $330 million available under the program, the company said.

Under the deal, expected to close on or about Dec. 29, Align said it will pay for the buyback with cash on hand, which stood at about $1.15 billion as of Sept. 30.
