Shares of NN rose after the precision-manufacturing company lifted its full-year guidance, citing strength in markets including artificial-intelligence data centers.
Shares were up 12% to $3.78 as of midday Wednesday. The stock has nearly tripled in value this year.
The company on Tuesday said it now expects net sales this year of between $470 million and $490 million, a lift of $10 million from its previous guidance. The midpoint of $480 million represents 14% year-over-year growth.
It forecast adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization between $58 million and $68 million, up $3 million from its earlier projections. The range represents 29% growth at the midpoint.
Analysts polled by FactSet had been expecting net sales of $470.9 million and adjusted Ebitda of $58.7 million as of Sept. 18, prior to the outlook lift.
"Our business continues to build momentum as we ramp up in our key growth markets of Data Center, Defense & Electronics, and Medical, where demand for our solutions remains strong and actively expanding," Chief Executive Harold Bevis said. "Our year-to-date results and year-to-go forecast underpin this improved guidance and reflect the steady performance [of] our growth and cost programs."
