Alibaba Cloud to Add Regions in Turkiye, Finland, Netherlands

Alibaba Group's (BABA) Alibaba Cloud said Tuesday it plans to open its first cloud regions in Turkiye, Finland and the Netherlands over the next 12 months as part of a global infrastructure expansion.
The company said it also plans to expand its data-center footprint in Malaysia, Germany, the UAE, France and Hong Kong.
Alibaba Cloud said it currently operates 107 availability zones across 31 regions.
The company said it is also working with businesses including Panasonic Digital, Unity China, Lion Parcel, Loomi Entertainment Group, SHAKE and AnyMind Group to use its cloud and AI technologies for areas including manufacturing, gaming, logistics, content creation and e-commerce.
