Biomea Shares Rise After Completing Enrollment in Diabetes Trial

Biomea Fusion (BMEA) shares rose over 14% in Monday trading after the firm said it has completed enrollment in a phase 2 trial of icovamenib in insulin-deficient Type 2 diabetes patients.

The clinical-stage firm said topline 26-week primary endpoint data from the COVALENT-211 trial is expected in Q1 of 2027.

Biomea also said COVALENT-212 mid-stage trial enrollment is still ongoing, with topline 26-week primary endpoint data anticipated in Q2 of 2027.
