Dimerix (ASX:DXB) said eligible patients with focal segmental glomerular sclerosis who complete treatment in its phase three clinical trial and open-label extension study will be able to continue receiving investigational therapy DMX-200 through post-trial access programs in key territories, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said access will be provided to patients whose treating physicians determine that ongoing therapy is appropriate and that no suitable alternative is available through expanded access, compassionate use, special access, or other applicable regulatory pathways, subject to local regulations, per the filing.

The company's commercial partners will handle market access and supply costs for DMX-200 in their territories, while it will assume these responsibilities in territories where no commercialization partner has been appointed, the filing added.

The company's shares rose past 2% in recent Thursday trade.
