SPAC Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. III Files for $300M IPO

Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. III filed to raise $300 million in an initial public offering.

The special purpose acquisition company plans to offer 30 million units, with each unit containing one share and one-fourth of a warrant to buy an additional share at $11.50, according to a Thursday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Underwriters will have a 45-day option to buy up to an additional 4.5 million units to cover any overallotments.

The company said it has not selected or begun discussions with any potential business combination target. It said it plans to focus on North American and European businesses in sectors being transformed through new technologies.

It expects to list its shares on Nasdaq under the symbol BCCQ.
