AIMS APAC REIT Keeps Bull on Healthy Fundamentals, Growth Drivers -- Market Talk

0406 GMT - AIMS APAC REIT's healthy portfolio fundamentals and multiple growth drivers keep DBS Group Research bullish on the stock. The Singapore industrial real-estate investment trust's resilient earnings growth could be boosted by rent increases, declining finance costs and likely further accretive acquisitions, analyst Dale Lai says in a note. While its recent perpetual-securities issuance could be a near-term earnings drag, the financing round seems strategically beneficial over the longer term and should generate annual savings of over S$3.0 million, the analyst says. Further asset-enhancement moves could also boost organic income growth, he adds. DBS raises its target price to S$1.66 from S$1.60 after rolling forward its valuation and maintains a buy rating. Units fall 1.9% to S$1.55. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
