Air China's (SHA:601111, HKG:0753) available seat kilometers, which measures passenger capacity, rose 11% year on year to 31.8 million in March, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Wednesday.
The airline company's Hong Kong shares rose 2% during Thursday's morning trade.
Revenue passenger kilometers, an indicator for combined passenger traffic, jumped 20% from a year earlier to 27.5 billion during the same month.
Cargo capacity, measured through available freight tonne kilometers, climbed 4.1% to 1.13 billion.
