Shares of technology companies rose as a bold move from Intel stirred a rally in chip makers.

Intel agreed to buy back the 49% stake in its Ireland-based microchip factory it sold to Apollo Global Management for $14.2 billion in 2024.

Chip makers were hard hit during the flight from risk triggered by the Iran war, and came storming back this week.

Anthropic is racing to contain the fallout after accidentally exposing the underlying instructions it uses to direct Claude code, the popular artificial-intelligence agent app that has won the company an edge with developers and businesses.

Manna Air Delivery raised $50 million in its Series B funding round and will use the proceeds to expand its operations in the U.S., the company's founder and chief executive officer said.

Microsoft is on track to invest $5.5 billion in cloud and AI infrastructure in Singapore through 2029, as demand for AI skills and computing continues to grow in the city-state.

A number of Baidu's Apollo Go robotaxis froze in the middle of traffic in a major Chinese city, forcing passengers to abandon the vehicles, and raising questions over the safety of self-driving cars.
