Askul (TYO:2678) booked a loss attributable to owners of the parent of 14 billion yen for the nine months ended Feb. 20 from a profit of 6.11 billion yen a year earlier.

The furniture company's loss per share was 154.94 yen, compared with earnings per share of 64.12 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.

Net sales dropped 20% to 286.9 billion yen in the nine months from 358.8 billion yen in the prior-year period.

In a separate filing, Askul said following the October 2025 ransomware attack, it withdrew its full-year guidance but has now determined forecasts based on third-quarter results and March 2026 business conditions.

For the full year ending May 20, the company now expects net sales of 395 billion yen, while attributable profit and EPS remain undetermined as it evaluates group restructuring.

Askul plans to pay a year-end dividend of 10 yen per share for the current year, down from 19 yen per share in the prior year.
