Kimberly-Clark's (KMB) proposed joint venture with Suzano (SUZ) is being investigated by the UK Competition and Markets Authority, the regulator said Friday.
The regulator said the period for public commentary and input on the potential impact of the merger on competition in the UK has closed and that it will begin its phase 1 inquiry on Monday, with May 28 as the deadline for a determination.
