Apple (AAPL) has discontinued its premium Mac Pro desktop computer and removed the device from its online store, multiple news outlets reported Friday.
The company does not plan to release future versions of the top-end workstation, which was last upgraded in 2023 with an M2 Ultra processor, the news outlets reported.
The phased-out machine has been effectively replaced by the more compact Mac Studio, which currently features an M3 Ultra chip and is expected to receive an M5 Ultra refresh later this year, the media outlets reported.
Apple did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
