Bank of China Redeems 15 Billion Yuan Tier 2 Capital Bonds

Bank of China (SHA:601988, HKG:3988) redeemed tier 2 capital bonds worth 15 billion yuan, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Saturday.
The lender's Shanghai and Hong Kong shares fell 2% during Monday's morning trade.
BOC redeemed the fixed-rate bond, which has a term of 10 years, in its fifth year.
The bond was one of the two tranches of 25 billion yuan tier 2 capital bonds.
