Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao and Apple CEO Tim Cook met on Friday and discussed boosting the country's supply chain, Xinhua News Agency reported Saturday.
During the meeting, the Apple CEO said the country is the tech giant's most important production base and primary source of its supply chain, the report said.
Apple is deepening its innovation cooperation, green development, and industrial chain collaboration in China, according to Xinhua.
