Abbott Laboratories (ABT) said Monday it has completed its acquisition of Exact Sciences (EXAS), making the company its wholly owned subsidiary.
Exact Sciences shares ceased trading on Nasdaq following the transaction completion, the company said.
Abbott shares were 1.6% higher in Monday premarket trading.
