Rua Gold (NZE:RGI) said drilling at the Auld Creek gold-antimony project on the South Island of New Zealand provides strong evidence for expansion of the gold-antimony resource, according to a Wednesday New Zealand bourse filing.

It intercepted mineralization 400 meters north of the resource envelope, confirming surface extension beyond 1,060 meters, while another drill hole intercepted mineralization 550 meters downhole, demonstrating continuity to 540 meters below surface.

It intercepted 1.4 meters at 29.1 grams per tonne grade of gold-equivalent, including 25.5 g/t grade of gold and 1.6% grade of antimony, from 173 meters. It is planning scout drilling targeting northerly extensions of the Fraternal and Bonanza lodes.
