Pop Mart (HKG:9992) and Sony Pictures Entertainment plan to develop a feature film based on the Labubu character, Reuters reported Thursday.
The film is in early development as a live-action and CGI blend, according to the report.
BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Paul King is set to direct and co-write the screenplay with Steven Levenson, the report added.
