Goodman Property Trust (NZE:GMT) has been granted an exemption by the Overseas Investment Office from investor consent requirements under the Overseas Investment Act 2005, clearing the path for its planned transition to a corporatized and stapled structure, according to a Thursday New Zealand bourse filing.
The company can now proceed with the restructuring, as the exemption required for the transaction has been fulfilled, the filling added.
