Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is on track to lift throughput to a 1.7 million tonnes per annum to 1.8 million tonnes per annum run rate by the end of the June Quarter at the Kanmantoo copper mine in South Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 8.5 meters at 3.28% grade of copper, 0.11 grams-per-tonne grade of gold, and 6.01 g/t grade of silver from 158 meters downhole, as well as 5.8 meters at 1.41% grade of copper, 0.64 g/t grade of gold, and 3.16 g/t grade of silver from 92.98 meters downhole.
Around 10,825 meters of underground drilling and 551 meters of surface drilling were completed by the end of February.
Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Wednesday.
