Turaco Gold Says Drilling at Ivory Coast Gold Project Confirms Zones of Continuous Mineralization, Shares Fall 3%

Turaco Gold (ASX:TCG) said follow-up drilling along the Niamienlessa-Affienou trend within the Afema gold project in the Ivory Coast confirmed zones of continuous oxide gold mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling at the Niamienlessa SW and Affienou West prospects resulted in intercepts of 14 meters at 3.18 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 50 meters, as well as five meters @ 3.57 g/t grade of gold from 38 meters.
Exploration drilling continues, with diamond rigs currently operating at the Baffia, Kotoka, and Herman targets, and along the Afema shear.
Its shares fell 3% in recent trading on Thursday.
