Lotus Resources Begins Acid Plant Commissioning at Malawi Uranium Mine

Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) said the cold commissioning of the acid plant at its Kayelekera uranium mine in Malawi was underway, with hot commissioning scheduled for April, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm said it was on track to deliver nameplate production at the project in the June quarter. The processing plant was operated at 80% utilization for the second half of February, with a processing rate at 65% on a steady-state level.
