Investors will look out for comments around consumer sentiment, investments in AI, impact from the recent tariff developments in the U.S., as well as annual forecasts.Discount apparel retailer Ross Stores is expected to report a rise in fourth-quarter revenue due to strong demand, as consumer spending is under pressure, prompting them to seek cheaper options. Investors will look out for comments from these companies on sales in the upcoming holiday season and tariff impact.Shopee owner Sea is expected to report a sharp rise in its fourth-quarter revenue as it benefits from strong spending on its e-commerce platform but faces stiff competition from rivals such as Alibaba and TikTok Shop.On the Latin American economic tap, Brazil's statistics agency, IBGE, is expected to report that the country's fourth-quarter gross domestic product likely grew 0.1%, having recorded a similar reading in the prior quarter. On an annual basis, the economy probably grew 1.8% in the fourth quarter, the same rate as in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, data from the Labor Ministry is expected to show that the economy likely created 90,000 formal jobs in January.
