StanChart to Fully Redeem HK$1.1 Billion Bonds Ahead of Maturity

Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) plans to fully redeem outstanding bonds under a HK$1.1 billion issue of 4.7% fixed-rate bonds ahead of their March 2027 maturity, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The bonds will be redeemed March 21, following which they will be cancelled.

The bonds will be delisted from the official list of the Financial Conduct Authority and trading of the bonds on the London bourse will be cancelled on or shortly after March 24.
