Moderna agreed to pay at least $950 million to settle patent-infringement litigation with Arbutus Biopharma and Genevant Sciences. Moderna's stock rose 8.7% to $54.15, while Arbutus shares fell 11% to $4.17.
Ross Stores had higher sales in the fourth quarter thanks to a growing shopping cohort. The stock rose 6% to $209.85 after hours.
Latham acquired Freedom Pools. Shares gained 19% to $7.68.
Webtoon Entertainment posted lower sales and expects revenue to come in below expectations in the current quarter. The stock shed 14% to $9.88.
