Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) agreed to grant tracking information tied to FIT non-fossil certificates for four solar power plants it owns, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The two-year agreement involves Tida Power 01 LLC as lessee and power producer, and an undisclosed customer.

The plants covered are CS Izu-shi, CS Ogawara-machi, CS Shichikashuku-machi and CS Kasama-shi Dai-san. Tracking information will be assigned from March.

CSIF said the agreement is intended to meet rising demand for renewable energy procurement.
