Challenger Gold Starts Ore Haulage From Argentina Gold Mine; Shares Jump 6%

Challenger Gold (ASX:CEL) said ore trucking operations from the Hualilan gold mine in Argentina to the Casposo processing plant started, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The ore haulage is being conducted by local contractors, Mi Viejo, MTZ, and Terra Logistica, per the filing. During the first two weeks, ore haulage will be conducted at an initial rate of around 500 tonnes per day. Throughput will increase to around 1,000 tonnes per day in the following weeks.
The company's shares rose past 6% in recent trading on Friday.
