The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.6% higher.
KKR (KKR) has struck a deal to acquire a majority stake in XCL Education in a deal that values the Southeast Asian school operator at roughly $1.3 billion, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Shares of KKR were 0.4% lower premarket.
