Alicanto Minerals to Conduct Maiden Drilling Program at Western Australia Gold Project; Shares Rise 6%

Alicanto Minerals (ASX:AQI) said it was preparing to start its maiden drilling campaign of 50,000 meters at its Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling will be conducted by DDH1 Drilling, focusing on step-out drilling targeting strike and depth extensions to the existing resources at the Selene and Mt Henry deposits, the filing said.
The company's shares rose past 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
