Catalyst Metals to Acquire Two Land Packages in Western Australia

Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL) agrees to acquire two land packages in the Bryah Basin, Western Australia, from Star Minerals (ASX:SMS) and Albright Metals (ASX:ABR), according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company will acquire Star Minerals' West Bryah project for nearly AU$2.8 million, comprising cash and scrip, the filing said.

It will also acquire about 50% of the tenements comprising Albright Metals' Bryah project for AU$1.8 million, with an option to buy the remaining 50% for a further AU$2.2 million, per the filing.

Catalyst Metals shares fell nearly 1% in afternoon trade on Wednesday.

Star Minerals shares rose nearly 2%, while Albright Metals shares were up more than 33%.
