TFI International Is Still in a Freight Recession -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
Feb 19
1133 ET - TFI International is still feeling the pressure of a prolonged freight recession three years running. "The freight recession that we've seen since 2023 for in 2025 is still persistent as we look at Q1," CEO Alain Bedard says in a call to investors that the 1Q 50 cent to 60 cent adjusted EPS guidance reflects the environment in transition. Bedard notes, however, that there are "very early signs" from its truckload sector that "things will start to get better during 2026." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
