Most Fed Participants Say Data Suggest Labor Market Stabilizing -- Market Talk

1419 ET - In the minutes of the January FOMC meeting, "most" participants noted recent jobs data such as the unemployment rate, layoffs and job openings suggest labor market conditions may be stabilizing after a period of gradual cooling. Meanwhile, "several" participants noted their business contacts continued to express caution in hiring decisions -- with uncertainty about the economic outlook and effect of AI.
