Asia Naphtha/Gasoline-Gasoline crack falls as inventories climb

NEW DELHI, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Asia's gasoline margin declined on Thursday after inventories at key trading hubs rose to multi-year highs, traders and analysts said.

The crack fell to about $5 per barrel over Brent crude, compared with $6.14 in the previous session.

Singapore markets were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for a public holiday.

Singapore light distillate stocks rose to a record level of 19.474 million barrels in the week to February 18, Enterprise Singapore data showed. O/SING1

Inventories at the Fujairah trading hub rose 25% to 1.913 million barrels in the week ended February 17, S&P Global Commodity Insights data showed on Wednesday. FUJAIRAH/

- Oil prices rose on Thursday, driven by increasing concerns over potential military conflict between the United States and Iran as both countries stepped up military activity in the oil-producing region.O/R

- U.S. refiners Phillips 66 and Citgo Petroleum are seeking to buy heavy crude directly from Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA starting in April to maximize profits, rather than purchasing through trading houses and U.S. oil major Chevron, according to sources familiar with the efforts.
