Applied Materials gave higher-than-expected projections for its current quarter as AI is driving demand. Shares climbed 13% to $372.26 in after-hours trading Thursday.

Arista Networks' revenue jumped and beat expectations in the latest quarter. The stock gained 16% to $156.39 after the bell.

DraftKings posted a lighter-than-expected outlook for the full year, as it plans to sink more money into prediction markets. Shares slid 15% to $21.50.

Pinterest is continuing to struggle with a pullback from advertisers, which weighed on revenue in the latest quarter. The stock shed 17% to $15.40.
