Smaregi (TYO:4431) will merge its wholly owned subsidiary Netshop Supporters through a simplified absorption-type merger, effective May 1, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The merger follows Smaregi's acquisition of Netshop Supporters in December 2024 and aims to integrate management, development, and organizational structures to strengthen coordination between point-of-sale, payment, customer management, and e-commerce operations.

Smaregi will be the surviving company, with no issuance of new shares or cash consideration.
