AB InBev Could Get Share Boost if Volumes Flip Positive -- Market Talk

Feb 16
0929 GMT - AB InBev shares could gain this year if the brewer returns to growth in its sales volumes, analysts Javier Gonzalez Lastra and Lavinia Norton at Berenberg tell investors in a note. The Belgian-based maker of Bud Light and Stella Artois booked a solid end to 2025, though total volumes remained negative amid people drinking less in some markets. But that could finally reverse this year, Gonzalez and Norton say, pointing to hopeful signs in Brazil and the summer's soccer world championship. Shares could then re-rate, they say. Berenberg keeps its buy rating and a EUR89 target on AB InBev stock; shares are down 1.5% at EUR66.68. (joshua.kirby@wsj.com; @joshualeokirby)
