ACME Solar to Set Up 220 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh, India

ACME Solar Holdings (NSE:ACMESOLAR, BOM:544283) has bagged an order from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar to set up a 220 MW solar project with battery energy storage system (BESS) at Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh, India, according to a filing to the Indian bourses on Tuesday.

The project is part of a 440 MW tender floated by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar for the Morena Solar Park. It will combine solar and BESS technologies to meet the supply obligations for the 25-year power purchase agreement, which will be signed with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Co. and Rewa Ultra Mega Solar.

The project will be developed with a tariff of 2.764 Indian rupees per unit.
