** Shares of PLS Group PLS.AX up 3% at A$4.295, set for their strongest session since January 6, if current gains hold
** Stock gains for a second consecutive session; among top gainers on the mining sub-index .AXMM, which is up 1.1%
** Lithium miner signs an offtake deal to supply 150,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate to Chinese lithium battery materials maker Canmax Technologies 300390.SZ
** YTD, stock up 1.8% this year, including the day's move
