SBI Life Insurance's Fiscal Q3 Profit Rises; EPS Misses Estimates

SBI Life Insurance (NSE:SBILIFE, BOM:540719) said its net profit rose to 5.77 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter from 5.51 billion rupees a year ago, according to a Wednesday filing with the Indian bourses.

Earnings per share during the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, climbed to 5.75 rupees from 5.49 rupees a year earlier. The EPS is lower than the 6.94 rupees estimated by the analysts polled by Visible Alpha.

Total income of the insurer jumped year on year to 458.0 billion rupees from 185.4 billion rupees, according to the filing.

Shares of SBI Life slipped over 2% in Thursday morning trade.
