Songfa Ceramics Signs Shipbuilding Contracts Worth Up to $300 Million

Guangdong Songfa Ceramics (SHA:603268) signed a contract for the construction of two very large crude carriers (VLCC) for oil worth between $200 million and $300 million, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
Each carrier has a capacity of 30.6 million deadweight tonnage. They will be delivered in the second half of 2028.
The contract was signed with a European shipowner.
The ceramic products maker's shares rose less than 2% at the close.
