Andean Silver to Start Initial Economic Studies at Chile Project; Shares Fall 3%

Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) said it will start initial economic studies to assess the value of the "significant" mineral resource and existing infrastructure at its Cerro Bayo silver-gold project at Chile, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
A new mineral resource estimate is due set to be released at the project in the first-half of the fiscal year, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 3% in recent Tuesday trade.
