CGI CEO Not Concerned AI Volatility Could Affect M&A Strategy -- Market Talk

0942 ET - CGI CEO Francois Boulanger says AI is a strength rather than a weakness as it pushes forward its acquisition strategy. On an analyst call, Boulanger shrugs off concerns that AI volatility could affect its M&A strategy. "We continue to see AI as an enabler for the future so when it comes time for M&A, we look at how we can improve our footprint where we're lacking presence." The executive says this also includes its search for larger, transformational acquisitions that can help CGI in the future. "[AI] is not changing anything in our M&A strategy," Boulanger says. "We are looking at relationships and places where we want to grow." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
