Beach Energy Posts 9% Decrease in Production in December 2025 Quarter; Shares Up 4%

Beach Energy (ASX:BPT) reported a 9% decline in production to 4.5 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, from 5 million barrels of oil equivalent in the same period last year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Year-to-date gold production in the current fiscal year was 9.5 MMboe, the filing said.
Sales volumes fell to 5.9 MMboe from 6.8 MMboe, while sales revenue was down to $445 million from $563 million.
Capital expenditure incurred was $166 million, down from last year's $182 million, per the filing.
Shares rose 4% in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
