Dow Jones
Dec 29, 2025
2114 GMT - Cobram Estate Olives's acquisition of Californian Olive Ranch for US$173.5 million looks reasonably priced to Ord Minnett. That's because of the cost savings and scale benefits from combining the top two producers of extra virgin olive oil in the U.S. Analyst Ian Munro says the deal was agreed at an implied enterprise value-to-Ebitda multiple of 10.8x. It is forecast to lift Cobram Estate Olives's EPS by at least 9% from FY 2027. Ord Minnett raises the stock to buy, from accumulate, and lifts its price target by 4% to A$3.65/share. Cobram Estate Olives ended last week at A$3.26. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
