Waratah Minerals Says Diamond Drilling at New South Wales Gold Project Extends Gold Mineralization, Shares Climb 5%

Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM) said assays from diamond drilling at the Spur gold project in New South Wales extended gold mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of 11 meters at 2.86 grams per tonne grade of gold from 33 meters, 7.5 meters at 6.24 g/t grade of gold from 63 meters, as well as eight meters at 2.66 g/t grade of gold from 270.8 meters.

Four of the six active drill rigs are focused on extending the wide and high-grade intercepts at the newly discovered Consols zone.

Its shares climbed 5% in recent trading on Monday.
