0240 GMT - BRC Asia appears to be a clear beneficiary of Singapore's multiyear construction upcycle, RHB Research's Shekhar Jaiswal says in a report. The steel-reinforcing solutions provider has a 55%-60% market share in the local sector, which should be advantageous given the country's sustained public-housing, transport and healthcare infrastructure spending, the analyst writes. BRC's S$1.9 billion order book offers earnings visibility over a few years, he adds. BRC also trades at a valuation discount to local building-materials peers despite its stronger return on equity and margins. Jaiswal thinks its dividend yield of around 5.0% could position it well for income-oriented institutional investors. RHB doesn't have a rating or target price on BRC Asia. Shares are down 0.5% at S$4.09. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
