GK Energy Clinches Order Worth INR3.67 Billion

GK Energy (NSE:GKENERGY, BOM:544525) has received a letter of award for a contract worth 3.67 billion Indian rupees from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The company received a letter of empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity for 13,239 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP for the entire state of Maharashtra, India.

The order will be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order.

The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
