Stocks to Watch Tuesday: Warner Bros., MongoDB, Credo -- WSJ

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD): NBC Universal parent Comcast $(CMCSA)$, Netflix $(NFLX)$ and Paramount $(PSKY)$ all submitted second offers for Warner Bros. assets, The Wall Street Journal reported. The stock gained more than 1%.

Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL): OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said his company was declaring a "code red" effort to improve the quality of ChatGPT. Google's updated Gemini AI model has leapfrogged OpenAI and other rivals on industry benchmark tests.

MongoDB $(MDB)$: The database company hiked annual guidance as booming AI demand bolsters revenue. The stock jumped by more than 20%.

Apple $(AAPL)$: The iPhone maker is shaking up its artificial-intelligence ranks, poaching a Microsoft $(MSFT)$ executive and reorganizing after announcing the retirement of its top AI leader.

Credo Technology $(CRDO)$: The data-center connectivity specialist swung to a quarterly profit due to revenue from AI training and inference. Shares jumped 18%.

Costco $(COST)$: The retailer became one of the biggest companies to sue the Trump administration over tariffs, seeking a refund should the Supreme Court rule sweeping duties illegal.
